Welcome to our 3rd-8th Online School!

Da Vinci Tree Online is the online sister school of Da Vinci Tree Academy — the premier K–8 charter school in Tucson, Arizona.

Da Vinci Tree Online (DaVTO) is redefining what online education can be through:

Exceptionally small live class sizes, with just 2–10 students per teacher.

Highly qualified educators, all licensed and holding Bachelor’s degrees, with many holding Master’s and Doctoral degrees.

A full-service Special Education Department (ESS) supporting students with IEPs and 504 Plans.

Tuition-free enrollment for Arizona residents.

Accessible, family-friendly tuition for students outside Arizona.

Our Background and Philosophy

Da Vinci Tree Online prepares students for real life.

Our school was founded by educators who became frustrated with traditional systems that were failing too many students academically, creatively, and emotionally. We believed students deserved something better — a school designed for the future, not the past.

That is why Da Vinci Tree Online:

  • Focuses on the STEAM disciplines driving the careers of tomorrow — Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

  • Equips students with real-world skills including critical thinking, creativity, communication, leadership, and technological fluency.

  • Has a proven track record of success, with former students going on to universities, trade schools, entrepreneurial ventures, and rewarding careers.

  • Keeps the best class ratios at only 2-10 kids per teacher.

Making Online Work

Too many online schools are impersonal and asynchronous — placing students in front of prerecorded videos with little meaningful human interaction.

Your child deserves better.

At Da Vinci Tree Online (DaVTO), we understand both the challenges and the opportunities of online education. That is why every DaVTO student is supported by one or more dedicated teachers who actively teach, guide, encourage, and interact with students throughout the entire school day.

Our classrooms are live, engaging, and deeply relational. Teachers continuously develop creative new ways to keep students connected, motivated, and excited to learn each day.

Because real learning happens through real human connection. We are proud to say that every image featured on this website shows a real Da Vinci Tree student or staff member. We do not use stock photography or hired models — every smiling face truly belongs to our community!

A Message to Inspire Our Students

We are honored to share inspiring words with our students from Dr. Sian Proctor, the first African American woman to pilot a spacecraft.

Our students have also received inspiring messages from Star Wars actor Billy Dee Williams and NASA astronaut Terry Virts.
